HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

hmm has been one month plus since i really updated,

but nothing much has happened recently just the usual workload and slacking around.

hectic = lots of work plus lots of slacking=no time to complete stuff

holidays seem to pass faster than normal school days, no matter where or how i spent them.

i cant seem to get over my lack-of-discipline syndrome - i will never achieve what i want to complete at home.

MYEs turned out to be disastrous - my msg exceeded 4.

it seems to keep increasing though i tell myself to work harder everytime i get back my results slip. maybe i will hit 7 aft promos since it takes up 60% zzz.

i am currently down with sore throat and cough and it doesnt seem like its going to recover anytime soon. it is extremely irritating i feel like drinking water every few minutes and the cough disturbs my sleep.

the only consolation was that i managed to pon thursday last week and coughed and dota-ed my day at home.

G.I JOE was damn cool and thrilling though it was just spamming of technology, luckily i didnt use my mc and wasted another day home.

i have an urge to watch UP haha.

hmm okay thats all, now i will attempt to complete my weekend homework which i hadn't even touched. and thr's gp test tmrw and chem SPA on thursday zzz.

because i have not started studying at all in addition to missing one whole week of school.
i can't believe it i am still not motivated to study up till this point.

yes i am finally discharged from hospital!
hee and dont know fortunately or unfortunately, i finally have something to blog about and ample time to type my post.
the past 4 days have been very eventful, shall repeat whatever happened like how i did dutifully to all the docs and nurses in hospital =.=

had difficulties breathing during training on friday suddenly with pain at the neck and the chest.
then at night could only sleep for ard 3 hours while i was on bed for 10hours because it was just too painful and i was constantly short of breath.

got admitted into Alexandra hospital on saturday noon because of some tear in my windpipe which caused air leak underneath my skin at the neck area. doctor said it had potential of causing infection to othe major organs or even suffocation. had to stay in the (surgical intensive care unit) sicu cause doctor said the injury poses dangers to my life which stunned my parents. the care was really intensive, with around 10 wires connected to me to dont know measure what. i survived on 40ml of water and no food for a day as i was on drips (world record anot? xD) the doctor also commented that there might be an emergency operation to slice open my throat to put in another pipe should i stop breathing. that sure scared the hell out of me cause i hate anything poking into me =.= icu was sure an interesting experience, the facilities, doctors and nurses look damn pro. and their uniforms are like those of grey anatomy haha.

got transferred outta icu next afternoon to general ward which bore me alot i had nothing to do except to lie on the bed and wait for next meal to come =.=
tried watching the tv but realised i cannot hear it and turning it too loud might disturb too much patients. so in the end went back to my bed and try to sleep.
i was woken up next morning by the nurse who wanted to take my temperature and blood pressure
monday was generally better in my ward as more doctors came into to examine me, pressing my neck everywhere =.=, including some groups of medical students from NUS who were taking their exams there.
one group used me for their revision by doing some weird irrelevant test on me. aye but at least it beats lying on your bed and waiting for meals to come. then had another x-ray in the noon then doctor declared that i can be discharged on monday night as x-rays did not show further damage to my windpipe. :D

people to thank for curbing my boredom during my hospital stay - dearest dearest, friends whom i disturbed via sms to talk to me, 5M peiwen and sijie for visiting me with gifts and my family who spent alot of time visiting me. also many thanks to teachers and friends who expressed concern and wished me well. last but not least the nurses and doctors of the hospital in charge of ICU bed 2 and general ward 12 bed 15! this hospital stay has shown me why doctors and nurses are known as noble professions!

on a sidenote, i knew my chem marks ytd when my class visited me in hospital. haha i have completed a combo of 4 failures this term! =.=

okay shall end my really long post here. personal best already! i shall try to use my 16-day hospitalisation leave wisely by studying hard and recuperating well. erhem, like it would happen =.=

ahh there's finally a chance for me to post an entry!
LOL. more than 3 weeks since i have posted.
and got a chance today because i didnt go to school because my tonsils acted up again,
due to playing basketball under the sun for very long ytd and not drinking enough water.
today when i woke up my throat was burning and it felt like something big was swollen there.
obviously its my tonsils.
hahaha looks like the cost of playing totally outweigh the benefits man!
ohya did i mention, i skipped physics prac cos i forgot the time while playing basketball and have to go for make up prac next week =.=
tsk i am getting rebellious. this seems to be retribution for me!

on the other hand, i can enjoy a 4-day weekend with the addition of an irritating sore throat!
seriously i would prefer a 3-day break without a sore throat zzz.
in fact, i wasted my day slacking and seeing the doctor today =.=
today's a bad day man. after i woke up after struggling to climb outta my bed.
i switched on the radio and heard that liverpool lost 3-1 to chelsea! D:
then after that on my way to the clinic the lift broke down and stopped between the 8th and 9th floor zzz. and the ventilator stopped too.
haha i thought my heart stopped beating too! fortunately it countinued moving after half a minute.

sigh sigh it seems like the medicine is not working too!
my throat is still feeling very irritated and i cant seem to swallow food properly. =.=
aye hope i recover from this shit soon!
hmm nothing interesting has been happening in my life recently.
going to school for 5days a week has been an extremely uninteresting and detestable routine!

hello i am back again after 11days.
wanted to post at the start of march hols but too lazy to LOL
march hols started with a visit back to itc for the candlelight night!
ehh very reminiscing!
then followed by a sleepover at jiachen's house.
actually the main purpose was to watch the liverpool vs man utd match,
but i missed it because i went back to school.
apparently, LIVERPOOL WON 4-1 :D
after that we watched this super hilarious and stupid movie named BORAT.
i swear i laughed my ass out, you all should go watch it.
after that i came home in the morning and slept all the way to 5pm =.=
totally wasted my day man!

after that day i have been lazily lagging at home,
using computer and watching lots of tv LOL
ohya i have been playing this tycoon game on facebook.
its about investing in something then seeing whether its price increase or decrease,
then you can see whether you make a loss or profit.
i play mousehunt too!

hmm actually this are the highlights of what happened in this period of 11 days,

back after 3 weeks!
last time i blogged was feb 13 omg.
sorry real busy these days.
because slacking time is a constant,
variables like doing homework and blogging have to be adjusted to suit my new fully-packed timetable.
quite alot happened this month but i shall just give a summary of everything.

firstly i volunteered as route marshal for the ocbc cycle.
its not the most meaningful cip but definitely the most unique!
stayed over at the mac at marina square and reported at 3am in the morning.
i was half conscious throughout.
but it was quite interesting, seeing people from all walks of life on their bikes.
including some really very pro cyclists from overseas.
what surprised me most was the 9 cip hours we got and guess what?
20bucks as our pay! :D woah very pleasant indeed.

after that came the never ending tests that almost cost me my life.
cca and chinese lessons made me so tired when i reach home that i just fall asleep whenever i tried to study T.T
fyi, i AM a heavy sleeper.
but no choice, had to sacrifice some of my sleep at times.
unfortunately, as usual, my last minute efforts will NEVER pay off. D:
i got back 4 papers out of my 4.5 papers
and my grades stand at D(chem), E (math), A(physics) and B(GP).
just waiting for my H1 econs to fill in that C slot xD
looks like retention is imminent. constant worrying is confirmed.

a consolation is that march holidays coming in a week! :D
woohoo dk how it will go, but i am hoping its better than the life i am leading now.

hello i am back! :D
it has been 13days since i blogged,
excluding the one whr i announced the loss of my calculator =.=
ohya anyway i found my calculator!
apparently i left in the canteen before pe and some kind soul called Cynthia from 4i returned to the general office.
dk who she is but im extremely thankful :D

today is the friday the 13th, supposedly a catastrophic day.
ironically for me, it was a day that made me feel glad for once since very long ago.
ehh thanks to sylvia for the v.day present and the favour.
the favour meant alot alot alot to me!
it made my day undoubtedly :D
moreover the day went smoothly even though i envisioned it to suck.
i managed to go through lectures awake, scrape through tutorials with last minute done homework and listen relatively attentively!
neither did training suck, although it was VERY tiring.

this is all about it that happened today.
hmm the past 2 weeks wasnt very good.
though i dont rmbr much details about it.
basically it was hectic, with late dismissals, tiring days, tons of homework.
on the whole, school life sucks.

I FLUNKED MY HCL 'O' LEVELS WITH A SCORE OF D7

ohmygod now that i see it, it has been 10days since i blogged alr.
super long LOL.
nothing much happened since 1st jan.
just trainings and chalet followed by training and chalet.

2nd jan - training
3rd jan - training + class chalet
4th jan - class chalet
5th jan - class chalet
6th jan - training + squad chalet
7th jan - squad chalet
8th jan - gym + bowling
9th jan - training
10th jan - training

it may sound boring but its certainly better than during the earlier part of hols whr i kept staying at home.
the 5 continuous days of chalet was certainly fun, spending loads of time with long time no see squadmates and classmates who will soon be ex-classmates. (omg does that make sense? )
although the trainings in between made it super tiring lol.
it is true that fun times always seem to pass faster.
in the blinking of an eye (一转眼 LOL), it is the end of the holidays, which started !@#$% days ago.
seriously this holidays felt so long i thought it might never end =.=

TOMORROW, two events that i dread will happen!
firstly, tmrw marks the release of our HCL 'o' levels paper.
if i did not recall wrongly, the paper wasn't easy to me at all.
and at the same time, i did not put in much effort into it.
this means ... DEAD MEAT.
i would be devastated if i discover that i have to take H1 chinese zzz!
but thr's nothing i can do now alr. so i shall try not to think too much about it.
next, tmrw is the start of our year5 orientation! o.O
fyi, i have been allocated into class 5M5M5M5M5M.
i have been feeling quite pessimistic about this allocation,
about how i will fit in and some OTHER reasons,
that i shall keep to myself.
aye i shall not talk too much about it.
just wish me luck zzz =.=
and hope that i do not flunk and hit the promotion criteria ZZZ.

WISHING ALL A SUPER DUPER HAPPY 2009! :D

2008 has finally passed, whether you like it or not.
and 2009 has arrived, followed by a bit of fear that it will turn out rotten LOL. =.=
2oo8 has turned out to be moderate, worse than 2oo6 but definitely better than the disastrous 2oo7, which almost left me dead.
i bet this sounds stupid haha.

2008
basically i spent most of 2oo8 mourning about something i lost in 2oo7, stupidly praying that i will get it back again.
but in 2oo9 i have promised myself it will be just a beautiful memory not destined to be mine.
and as usual, worrying about something i have been constantly worrying about since 2oo7, and will continue to worry about in 2oo9 and 2010 (super sad man zzz D:) - PROMOTION.
this worry probably took a few days outta my life span sighs. =.=
maybe i will only have half my life left someday due to this stupid worry.
2oo8 was also the year ...
i rod-ed from NPCC, a cca that i dreaded going to in sec1 but dreaded leaving in sec4.
this cca gave me more than i expected to gain from it - valuable friendships, beautiful memories and many many lessons.
i had a headache choosing between soccer and basketball, soccer was my favourite game since primary school and it was my dream to play in a complete team while i only began playing basketball a year ago. i have to admit i am equally passionate about both. but i figured that i had already reached my limit in soccer, no i am no suggesting i have potential in basketball (the opposite has been proven right zzz =.=) , but it was still unfamiliar to me and there was more to learn.
i left 4h, a class that went through very disastrous 2oo7 and moderately disastrous 2oo8 with me, a class that i only began to cherish now that i am probably going to face a whole bunch of strangers for my classmates next year, a class that turned a classroom into a playground or sports hall or whatever and never failed to have fun.
i stepped into shanghai, china for the first time in my life. it was so different from the mount k trip, which was physically challenging. i had trouble getting used to their language due to my lousy chinese and climate and stuff. but i have learnt and seen alot and also made friends with my buddy, whose hospitality was so good it almost made me feel better than at home. now i think i am the frog in the well and sadly, live one of the smallest well in the world such that i cant see much other than my surroundings. and i am living so comfortably that i dont know about the world outside lol.
and ofcourse other than these, many other things happened that made my 2oo8.
lastly i would like to thank all earthlings for making my 2oo8! :D
and once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR.

age has probably caught up with me ):
LOL trainings, job sessions and chalet have taken their toll on me.
after alot of walking during the flyer distribution job and running during trainings, i have an ACHING RIGHT CALF.
&due to lack of water to drink during the job and the amount of fast food i ate recently, i have a SORE THROAT. (partly contributed by my sensitive tonsil)
last but not least, after all the fatigue and exhaustion caused by all the activities recently, plus the unhealthy diet i have been on, i am down with a FEVER. (thermometer measured 38degrees last night)

fortunately, i am feeling much better after eating some medicine last night! :D
and i'm now here at home slacking xD not distributing flyers yay!
although i have been complaining a week ago about staying at home and feeling bored, today doesnt feel that bad!
hmm other than this, nothing notable happened since my unit chalet! zzz lol.
HOWEVER, i saw something on tv that caught my attention and got me interested!

Buffet Buffet @ Channel 8
its basically a show about buffets.
i didnt know about this show until i caught a glimpse (10min?) of it on tv during the most recent episode.
it was showing buffets below 20bucks. and i saw this shop called 'Waffle Factory'.
Waffle Factory at the Singapore Post Centre – $8.80 per adult and $6.80 per child (below 12 yrs old), 10am to 10pm daily.
The flavours come in sweet or savoury and include white chocolate Oreo bites, M&M White Chocolate, Cheddar Cheese, Strawberry Chocolate, Sarawak Pineapple and D24 Fresh Durian (limited to 1 order per pax).
The buffet also comes with 1 drink and you can add $3 for a main course like spaghetti.
there's another outlet in downtown east but there's no buffet so its not worth it. i found this out in some stranger's blog lol
OKAY I ADMIT, i spent my boring day at home satisfying my craze about this waffle buffet LOL.
but a waffle buffet, HOW COOL IS THAT? :D

it has been 9days since i last updated le.
omg look at what this blog has become tsktsk

luckily im back to salvage the situation LOL :D
anyway, i am utterly SAD to announce that im broke again 2days after my mum gave me more money!
i spent it during unit chalet on bowling, movie, arcade and 3expensive meals. )):
nooo the $50 note that seems so magnificent has been reduced to dk what now hahaha.
enough of the financial crisis i am experiencing.
although it sucks to be broke when x'mas draws near.
unit chalet was fun, seeing some of the squadmates i had not seen for ages.
plus the activities were very fun too. bowling and watching movie in the middle of the night HAHA.
i swear i almost slept inside the gutter, esp aft having training in the morning.
all in all, it was fun although as usual like all things, not as perfect and pleasant as you wished it could be.

ohya after i got 'scammed' (i am still unsure whether they scammed me) by some company who offered me the waiter job, i managed to find another flyer distributor job introduced by kunhong.
the rate is 30bucks/1000booklets distributed door to door in some blocks of flats in bukit batok area.
1000 didn't seem a daunting number in the first place.
but i got my first shock when i collected my stocks.
1000 booklets took up so much space that it was too much for my trolley.
and the weight of the trolley was indescribly heavy! almost died man LOL.
and guess what it took us 8hours to complete 1000flyers each and 29blocks of flats!
ahhh i felt scammed! (yes again -.-)
but i think i'll continue with this job until i make further progress with my waiter one zzz D:
but i will make positive ammendments to the way i work so the $30 will be more worth it.
(for example, scam them back! :D) HAHAHA.

thats all that has been happening for the past 8days.
things that are notable :D LOL nothing much liao.
i changed my blog song already!
change to 'Last Christmas' , i liked that song when i heard it years back haha.

again i spent my time today watching hotshot for like a few hours.
i watched till disc 2 alr yay.
i got the dvd from some pirated shop while i was in shanghai :D
i cld still see though graphics sucked quite abit and thr was a part the pictures were moving faster than the sound!
hmm the show wasnt bad! it was extremely entertaining :D

anyw had class steamboat yesterday at some place at cityhall.
it was fun and filling!
haha steamboat's always not worth it for me bcos my appetite's not big enough to eat the amount of food to make up for the money i paid.
nevertheless, it was enjoyable!
very unfortunately and as a result, i am now BROKE.
somemore the first payday of my job is only on boxing day ):

well i am back from SHANGHAI
alive and kicking at least haha
except for some peeling skin and lips
which is super irritating at times
i'll post about the trip some time.
when i feel like doing so lah haha.
nevertheless i think the trip was NICE
i got to see more about CHINA
there were pros and cons obviously
but i already told myself one day;
i will be back on the same freezing street in shanghai;
savouring the same flavour of warm milk tea. :D

anyw i bought back 18 packs of pocky and pejoy!
10 different flavours of pocky and 5 different flavours of pejoy.
anyw pejoy is just the flavouring inside the biscuit instead.
i had tons of trouble finding them and bringing them back okay! :D

ohya i am feeling BORED again.

today was probably one of the best day of my life ever.
i threw up my breakfast and lunch on the mrt and bus respectively.
sorry to the people who were on the same vehicles as me i didnt mean it T.T
i feel super guilty ):
thanks to the people who helped me when i vomitted--junbin and the basketballers! (:
after i went home i slept for a few hours and my mum pulled me to the doctor.
realised i had fever (38.3 degrees) and some virus which caused me to threw up everything i ate. zzz sucks man. like that i can't go out or go for cca tmrw >.< BOREDOM
i feel so much better after having the medicine man.
my mum was super paranoid she was afraid i might die in shanghai or what.
hahaha maybe my prophecy that i wouldn't live past 16 is coming true.
probably the worst illness i ever got in my life man zzz!
other than this i dont think there is anything else worth mentioning alr

holidays started 5days ago!
it was okay bcos i was desperately trying not to make it bore me too much hahaha.

hmm so sunday to today was spent on bowling, dota, trainings, thinking about subject combi, slacking etc.
not very boring huh. but my attempt to find a part time job failed! >.<
hahaha. anyw i decided my 3 choices for subject combination 15minutes before 5pm.
while i was playing dota hahaha =.=
i was so worried i couldnt make it in time :D
hahah decided on Physics, Chem, Math (H2) and Econs (H1)
zzz i spent like 2days listening about other ppl's rationale for choosing the combi they chose.
i bet nobody chose same combi as me bcos the school kept saying H1 econs is 7o% of H2
thus its not worth taking H1 hahaha.
if you all know of anyone same combi as me pls tell me!
aye still nothing much to talk about.

UPDATE!

we got back our report slips today.
i managed to scrape past promotion criteria.
didnt feel too good because obviously there was moderation
and i was pushed through.
not like it was possible for me to hit gpa 3.0
it just felt weird that the impossible became possible.

i went to AYC where i did my service learning today to give them our product for the project
to thank them for helping us and teaching lots about a topic we never knew.
at least i didn't know alot about it. =.=
although i never enjoyed the admin and tedious part of the project.
i must agree that the times spent with them were insightful and memorable.
i don't think i would ever have a chance to step into the centre again.

of course, today is the last day of school.
or at least my secondary school life and my last day as an official classmate with the rest of 4h.
this 2years seem to have flew past
leaving the classroom after school today and saying bye was weird.
it was the last time and you guys will be missed.

sorry for the late replies and updates i have been sorta busy recently.
firstly, i would like to thank chiouyih for the hamster she gave me!
it was very cute and i like it alot! thanks! (:
it came as an extremely pleasant surprise and early bday present :D

yesterday was a disaster
it started with a sore throat.
and ended around 12hours later with a sore throat, cough and flu.
in addition to that the events that day were not exactly pleasant and enjoyable.
all in all, 3rd November sucks.
and i am so glad its over.

anyway i watched coffin on sunday!
with elijah, xinyu, chingxin, lau and lihui!
the movie plot wasn't as nice as i expected it to be.
but the effects never disappoint LOL.
plus that pro thai actor who seems to act in all thai horror
haha. i enjoyed it though :D

okay this will be the end of my post which summarises 3days!
i dont know when i am going to update again though.
i have a feeling the days ahead will be boring. UTTERLY T.T

sunday has been absolutely boring. because i stayed at home the whole day.
and i totally hate that.

wahaha. i found this skin on www.blogskins.com and i thought it was damn funny!
and with the help of XINYU, who offered to help me edit the html,
i managed to change into this new skin from my old UGLY one!!!
but then because my skin used to have a background and i would have to use white fonts so that the words can be seen,
the opposite has to be done now as my background is white!!
aye but its so mafan i am too lazy to change. so please highlight it if you want to read! :D
